» - The creative option for the weekend is Lives from the Country on Sat (Mar 24). It's a collaborative effort from 70 of the artists that revolve around V64 Art Studio (143/19 Chaeng Watthana Soi 1 Yak, Vibhavadi Rangsit 64, www.v64artstudio.com), which is recuperating from the floods. As the name suggests, the event will bring the countryside to the big city through a Thai-folk music band from Maharatanabundit University and a Live Art show among other collaborative efforts in an evening of country creatives working alongside city artists. The party will feature workshops and exhibitions, starts at 5pm and will go through until people no doubt pass out in their studio cul-de-sacs after too much fruit juice. This one is more about goodwill than the money, money, money, so entry is free.
