» ผู้สื่อข่าวทดลองใช้อุปกรณ์ Electronic Monitoring Center หรือที่เรียกว่า EM สวมบริเวณข้อเท้าซึ่งใช้สำหรับจำกัดการเดินทางของผู้ต้องหาในการปล่อยชั่วคราวของศูนย์ควบคุมและติดตามการปล่อยตัวชั่วคราว ภายในศาลอาญา รัชดา โดยอุปกรณ์ดังกล่าวจะส่งสัญญาณถึงสถานีควบคุมทำให้สามารถรู้ตำแหน่งของผู้ต้องหาและแจ้งเตือนเมื่อผู้ต้องหาอยู่นอกพื้นที่ควบคุมตลอด 24 ชั่วโมง มีกำหนดจะเปิดใช้ในวันที่ 1 มีนาคม 2561 ใช้กับศาลนำร่องจำนวน 23 ศาล เพื่อแก้ไขปัญหาผู้ต้องหาหรือจำเลยหลบหนีในชั้นปล่อยชั่วคราว ปัญหาความยากจนไม่มีเงินประกันตัวทำให้คนยากจนถูกควบคุมตัว และเสียโอกาสได้รับการปล่อยชั่วคราว ทำให้ผู้ต้องหาหรือจำเลยเข้าถึงกระบวนการยุติธรรมได้ง่ายขึ้น ลดปัญหาความเหลื่อมล้ำของสังคม และลดปริมาณผู้ต้องขังหรือผู้ต้องโทษในเรือนจำPublished caption::One of the bracelets has been fitted with a GPS system.
