» ภาพที่ได้จากการฉายแสง X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) ผลปรากฏพบว่ามีโลหะผสม ลักษณะมีสีดำตามที่เห็นในภาพที่ห้องประชุมกองพิสูจน์หลักฐานกลาง (พฐก.) พล.ต.ท.ไตรรงค์ ผิวพรรณ ผบช.สพฐ.ตร. แถลงข่าวแจ้งเตือนภัยผู้ประกอบการร้านทองและประชาชน โดยร่วมกับสถาบันวิจัยและพัฒนาอัญมณีและเครื่องประดับชาติ ในกรณีพบการปลอมแปลงโลหะทองคำรูปแบบใหม่ ใช้วิธีเอาโลหะอื่นเจือปนกับโลหะทองคำ ทำให้มีลักษณะเหมือนทองคำแท้ แต่มีน้ำหนักและมูลค่าต่ำกว่าทองคำแท้ ซึ่งไม่สามารถใช้เทคนิคพื้นฐานในการตรวจวิเคราะห์เจอได้ ที่สำนักงานพิสูจน์หลักฐานตำรวจ สำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติ ถนนอังรีดูนังต์ เเขวงปทุมวัน เขตปทุมวัน กรุงเทพฯเพื่อเตือนภัยผู้ประกอบการร้านค้าและประชาชน ในกรณีการพบการปลอมแปลงโลหะทองคำรูปแบบใหม่ ซึ่งใช้วิธีนำโลหะอื่นมาเจือปนกับโลหะทองคำ ทำให้ทองคำมีลักษณะเหมือนทองคำแท้ แต่มีน้ำหนักและมูลค่าต่ำกว่าทองคำแท้ ผู้ต้องหา ได้นำทองคำแท่ง ประมาณ 2 กิโลกรัม มาขายให้ บริษัท ห้างทอง แห่งหนึ่งในพื้นที่ กรุงเทพมหานคร ซึ่งก่อนทำการซื้อขายนั้น ทางบริษัทฯ ได้ทำการตรวจสอบแล้วเบื้องต้นกับร้านตรวจสอบทองคำ ซึ่งสามารถตรวจหาทองคำ เป็นเปอร์เซ็นต์มาตรฐานได้ โดยเมื่อร้านที่ทำการตรวจสอบ ได้ตรวจสอบแล้ว จึงได้ตอบกลับมาว่า ทองคำจำนวนทั้งหมด ผ่านการตรวจ ซึ่งมีเปอร์เซ็นต์ได้ตามมาตรฐานที่ 96.5% จึงรับซื้อไว้ในราคาประมาณ 4 ล้านบาท ต่อมาผู้ต้องหา ได้นำทองคำแท่ง จำนวนประมาณ 2 กิโลกรัม มาขายอีกครั้ง ซึ่งก็ได้ทำการตรวจสอบทองคำแท่งตามมาตรฐาน จากทางร้านตรวจสอบทอง ก็ยืนยันว่าเป็นทองคำตามมาตรฐานเช่นเดิม โดยรับซื้อไว้เป็นเงินสดจำนวนประมาณ 4 ล้านบาท ต่อมาทางร้านที่ตรวจสอบทองคำได้โทรศัพท์มาแจ้งว่า ทองที่รับซื้อไว้ครั้งแรก ได้นำไปหลอม เพื่อแปรรูปทอง ไม่สามารถนำมาขึ้นเป็นงานได้ เนื่องจากเปราะแตกหัก ซึ่งไม่ใช่ทองมาตรฐาน มีอัตราส่วนทองบริสุทธิ์เจือปนต่ำกว่ามาตรฐาน ทำให้ได้รับความเสียหาย จึงรู้ว่าถูกหลอกลวง ผลการตรวจพิสูจน์ของกลุ่มงานตรวจทางเคมี ฟิสิกส์ กองพิสูจน์หลักฐานกลาง พบว่า โลหะที่ใช้ผสมกับโลหะทองคำ เป็นธาตุโลหะรีเนียม (Rhenium) และทังสเตน (Tungsten) ซึ่งไม่สามารถใช้เทคนิคพื้นฐาน เช่น หยดกรด เผาไหม้ หรือใช้เครื่องมือ X-ray ขนาดเล็กในการตรวจวิเคราะห์ เจอได้ ทำให้จำเป็นต้องใช้เครื่องมือวิทยาศาสตร์ขั้นสูง ในการตรวจพิสูจน์Photo By PATTARAPONG CHATPATTARASILL
