Singapore Airlines half-year profit down

» SINGAPORE — Singapore Airlines (SIA) said Thursday its half-year net profit plunged 55.5%, weighed by heavy losses in budget carrier affiliate Tiger Airways, and warned of a challenging outlook despite falling fuel prices.
