Bangchak Refinery Adopts Euro 5 Fuel Standards
Published on 01/12/2023

Gasoline will undergo modifications to reduce sulphur content to below 10 parts per million (ppm), resulting in a significant reduction in airborne fine particulate matter. Simultaneously, diesel will experience a sulphur content reduction to less than 10 ppm, accompanied by quality improvements. This comprehensive approach aims to mitigate the release of hydrocarbons, nitrogen oxides, and particulate matter resulting from engine combustion, thereby reducing long-term environmental pollution.
