We felt it challenged the readiness of many organisations to embrace supply-chain management (SCM) development opportunities, and in reality our message was clear. Last Saturday in southern Thailand, a series of car bombs went off, destroying shops and vehicles, engulfing buildings in flame and smoke and sending panicked shoppers and tourists fleeing.
