» Walailak University in collaboration with Fujian Open University, the Republic of China, marked the inception of the ASEAN-Bangkok Learning Centre, College of Overseas Chinese, Walailak University Centre, operating for educational collaboration between Thailand and China and endorsement of the “One Belt, One Road” policy among ASEAN fellows. On 28 June 2022, the opening of the centre officially commenced with an unveiling ceremony and signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at Sri Thammarat Meeting Room, Architecture and Design Building, 3rd Floor, Walailak University. Attendees also attended a virtual meeting at Bohou Building Auditorium, the Fujian Open University at the Guishan Campus, China.
