» บรรยากาศนักท่องเที่ยวประชาชนเดินข้ามถนนบริเวณแยกอโศก โดยวันที่ 24 มกราคม 2566 นางสาวรัชดา ธนาดิเรก รองโฆษกประจำสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี เปิดเผยว่า สาระสำคัญของกฎหมายจราจรฉบับใหม่ เน้นการเพิ่มโทษในข้อหาที่กระทบกับความปลอดภัยของผู้ใช้รถใช้ถนน และการเพิ่มโทษผู้กระทำผิดซ้ำ โดยเฉพาะความปลอดภัยของประชาชนต่อการใช้ทางม้าลาย รัฐบาลมีนโยบายเพิ่มมาตรการความปลอดภัยบนทางม้าลายให้เป็นพื้นที่ปลอดภัยแก่ประชาชนอย่างแท้จริง นางสาวรัชดา กล่าวว่า กรณีผู้ขับขี่ไม่หยุดรถให้คนข้ามทางม้าลาย มีโทษปรับใหม่ ไม่เกิน 4,000 บาท (จากเดิม 1,000 บาท) และตัดคะแนนความประพฤติทันที 1 คะแนน หลังตำรวจได้มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงเพิ่มอัตราโทษความผิดตามกฎหมายจราจร และใช้ระบบบันทึกคะแนนความประพฤติในการขับรถ ทั้งนี้ ผู้มีใบขับขี่ทุกคนจะมี 12 คะแนนเต็ม เมือถูกตัดเหลือ 0 คะแนน จะถูกพักใช้ใบขับขี่ ห้ามขับรถ 90 วัน หากฝ่าฝืนขับรถในช่วงถูกพักใช้ใบขับขี่ มีโทษจำคุก 3 เดือน ปรับไม่เกิน 10,000 บาท หากถูกพักใช้ใบขับขี่เกิน 3 ครั้ง ภายใน 3 ปี จะโดนพักใช้ใบขับขี่มากกว่า 90 วัน และหากถูกสั่งพักใช้ใบอนุญาตขับขี่อีกเป็นครั้งที่ 4 จะพิจารณาเพิกถอนใบอนุญาตขับขี่---------------------------------------Published caption::Right of way...
