» Plenty of beef lovers out there will understand it when we say that not many things in life could ever amount to the satisfaction of tucking into a piece of steak cooked to your absolute liking. The birth of your first child, maybe. Winning the lottery, possibly. But aside from those occasions, cutting into a medium rare rib eye that has perfect marbling is rather hard to beat.

» My initial thought upon hearing about Thailand's first sushi burrito was, "What has this world come to?" Next thing you know it'll be pla ra popcorn, pad thai burger and ramen pizza on the fad list. My lack of interest in fusion food stems from the fact that more often than not, bringing two things that have already been perfected, mashing them together and hoping for the best just doesn't seem to bounce with my (taste)buds.

» As adventurous as I like to think I am, paddling up and down Khlong Saen Saep is definitely not on my bucket list. The coal-black water brings back nightmares I used to have as a kid, about a man-eating Leviathan residing beneath its surface. Having said that, I do have a soft spot for water sports and discovering new places.
