While the investigation is still under way, it is evident that the impact of the attack on the country's tourism has been huge. The blast, plus a second explosion at Sathon pier, led 35 countries to warn their citizens about trips to Thailand. According to the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, 64.3 billion baht has been lost in tourism revenue from 1.3 million people who cancelled their trip to the country.
