The EDM blowout — planned to be an annual event — will make its debut at the outdoor area of the 11th Infantry Regiment King’s Bodyguard on Mar 7 (tickets B2,500, B4,000, www.thaiticketmajor.com). Bridging local tradition and Western modernity, the event will feature a 20m-long naga, sculpted by a team of Thai artists from Silpakorn University and Poh Chang Academy of Arts, which will slither along to the sounds of headbanging electro music spun by heavyweights Steve Angello and Markus Schulz, along with a line-up of Thai talent.
