» Today is Visakha Bucha Day, but to many of us, it's the start to Thailand's favourite activity: a holiday that grants us a long weekend! Visakha Bucha is a three-in-one commemoration of Buddha's birth, enlightenment and death, so good Buddhists will probably be spending this day doing noble things like making merit, abstaining from immoral behaviour, and refraining from killing the fly that keeps buzzing around them.
