» Whether you are a fan of their music or not, it's almost impossible not to have heard of Paper Planes, the biggest pop-rock duo at the moment. In fact, nobody can really pinpoint exactly the phenomenon surrounding these two guys -- vocalist Tunwa "Hye" Ketsuwan and guitarist Nakarin "Zen" Khunpakdee, and the reason why their single Bad Boy, about a playboy suffering the sadness of unrequited love, has become a pop anthem among Grade 1 students and young children across the kingdom. They know the lyrics of the song by heart. Bad Boy went viral after its video was released in early October last year. The track has more than 54 million views, 430,000 likes and 11,000 comments on YouTube.

» I was a little hesitant before going into Pistol, a music biographical drama miniseries, as I wasn't that convinced how the filmmaker is ever going to pull off such a story. The Sex Pistols was no doubt an important group in rock music history, having so much influence on the 70s UK punk movement as well as DIY and indie rock music a few decades later. However, their career was rather short, lasting a little over two years. Most of the news while they were active was rather negative with coverage focused more on scandals caused by the band members' behaviour than the actual music.

» Adam Yauch, better known as MCA, the visionary rapper, musician and activist, passed away from cancer in 2012, which forced the rest of his former band members in The Beastie Boys to decide not to carry on the name without him. What happened shocked and saddened the music world. And nearly a decade since disbanding and disappearing from the spotlight, and following the successful release of Beastie Boys Book in 2018, the remaining two Beastie Boys, Michael Diamond (Mike D) and Adam Horovitz (Ad-Rock), teamed up with award-winning director Spike Jonze to share with fans the full story of their band and 40 years of friendship in this live documentary experience, Beastie Boys Story. This is a legendary story that is raw, powerful, and also very personal, but it's one that is also hilarious, entertaining and at times even emotional. » Last Wednesday, Japanese recording artist and producer Keigo Oyamada, better known by his stage name Cornelius, returned to Bangkok for the first time in five years. The show, "Singha Light Live Series Vol 3.3" organised by Have You Heard?, was part of a tour to promote his latest record Mellow Waves. And he treated his fans to a spectacular night.
