» 1 The concept of bicycle co-ops aren’t exactly a thing here in Thailand, but those interested in finding out more about them can do so at the Will Work For Bikes event, taking place on March 19. Commonly found overseas, bicycle co-ops are essentially non-profit bicycle stores designed to help promote the benefits of bicycle riding. This event is designed to be a crowdfunding event for this store, and will feature live music from various artists like Beer Soranut, DJ Lows, Galaga and John Will Sail. You can start showing your support for this cause at 7pm, at the Whiteline bar near Silom 8.

During his travels to other countries while working on his own projects, the Brit came across a co-working space called Hubud in Bali and was immediately touched by the energy and innovative passion that came from the like-minded travelling freelancers working within the shared space. Finding himself in Thailand later, the experience prompted Abbot to found KoHub, a co-working space located right by the picturesque ocean at Koh Lanta, Krabi.
