» เมื่อเวลา 21.30 น. วันที่ 7 เมษายน 2567 ที่ผ่านมา ที่ท่าอากาศยานนานาชาติแม่สอด อ.แม่สอด จังหวัดตาก เครื่องบินโดยสารแบบเหมาลำ Atr 72-600 Myan Ma Airlines ได้บินมารับทหารเมียนมาที่ชายแดนไทย- เมียนมา ด้าน อ.แม่สอด จ.ตาก เพื่อเดินทางกลับไปยังประเทศเมียนมา ทั้งนี้หลังจากที่นายทหารเมียนมาทั้งหมดยอมมอบตัวกับฝ่ายกองกำลังสหภาพแห่งชาติกะเหรี่ยง= The Karen National Union (KNU.) และกองกำลังปกป้องประชาชน(PDF.)ขณะที่ฝ่ายต่อต้านได้ยึดค่ายทหาร กรมทหารราบ และที่ตั้งกองบังคับการยุทธวิธี ในพื้นที่บ้านปางกาน บ้านผาลู และในเขตเมืองเมียวดี รัฐกะเหรี่ยง ตรงข้าม อ.แม่สอด ซึ่งเครื่องบินได้วางแผนจะรับทหารชุดแรกประมาณ 20 คนตั้งแต่ระดับยศพลจัตวา , พันเอก พันโท และพันตรี พร้อมครอบครัว ประมาณ 20 คน โดยเครื่องบินได้บินมาลงรอที่ท่าอากาศยานแม่สอดประมาณเกือบ 1 ชั่วโมง คณะนายทหารเมียนมา ไม่มา จึงบินกลับไปประเทศทันที เนื่องจากทหาร The Karen National Union =KNU.และฝ่ายต่อต้านยังไม่ยอมปล่อย โดยบรรยากาศในสนามบินเงียบมากมีแต่เจ้าหน้าท่าอากาศยานไปรอช่วยกันปฏิบัติหน้าที่ เพื่อดำเนินการจัดการในท่าอากาศยาน และทางสื่อมวลชน และไม่สามารถเข้าไปในท่าอากาศยานได้ เนื่องจากได้ปิดประตูด้านหน้าไว้สำหรับทหารเมียนมา และครอบครัวที่จะเดินทางไปยังประเทศเมียนมามีทั้งหมด 617 คน แยกเป็นนายทหาร 67 นาย ทหารชั้นประทวน 410 คน ทหารหญิง 56 คน ครอบครัว 81 คน รวมทั้งหมด 617 คน โดยทางรัฐบาลทหารเมียนมาได้ประสานกับทางรัฐบาลไทย ผ่านกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ และใช้เวลาไปรับทหารเมียนมาเป็นเวลา 3 วัน เริ่มตั้งแต่วันที่ 7 เมษายน 2567 จนถึงวันที่ 9 เมษายน 2567Photo by Assawin Pinijwong---------------------------------------Published caption::An ATR 72-600 aircraft operated by Myanmar Airways waits on the tarmac at Mae Sot airport in Tak on Sunday night to pick up officials who fled rebel forces in Myawaddy, but no one showed up.
