But now the Investory Investment Discovery Museum, operated by The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), aims to educate the public on investment. The interactive museum, opened this year at the SET's new offices on Ratchadapisek Road, targets beginners who want to understand the basic concept of investment and how it is relevant to their lives.

But this year marked the 10th anniversary of the National Discovery Museum Institute (NDMI), an organisation that promotes museums as places of fun and learning. Its prototype — and marquee showcase — is Museum Siam, which celebrates its 7th anniversary this year.
