TSS stands for Toyota Safety Sense. Enhanced driving performance is achieved through the use of a newly developed front-wheel-drive platform, a Dual VVT-i 1.5-litre gasoline engine that produces 106 horsepower, and a new CVT automatic transmission that achieves excellent fuel economy of 17.9kpl while providing instant acceleration, a smooth and quiet ride at all speeds. There are also brakes on all four wheels as well as an electric handbrake.
