» A young gymnast reached out her hands and grabbed a bar. With the aid of an instructor, she swung herself a few times to gain momentum before finally doing a handstand. She held that position for a while before swinging down and coming back to the ground. All around the large open space, children were engaged in various artistic gymnastic pursuits. From swinging on the uneven bars to skipping on a balance beam or leaping over a vault.

» The turtles seemed a little confused at first as we put them onto the beach, just before the spot where waves were rolling in on the white sands. Everyone looked on in anticipation as the turtles began taking a few tentative steps. Finally, they moved forward and allowed seawater to engulf their bodies. With eyes ahead to the blue and green expanse of the Andaman Sea stretched out before us, they soon swam way, with cheers and waves given by onlookers on the beach.

» Anyone can be a giver regardless of age, social status or ability. On March 22 and 23, visit Suan Kru Angoon in Thong Lor to be a part of Hai Doei Chapor (Give Especially), a project organised by the Thai Health Promotion and Klongdinsor, a company that develops communication tools for the blind. The project aims to create a space for volunteer work for all, focusing especially on the underprivileged to change their role from that of a receiver to giver, too. It's about those in different communities passing on happiness to one another endlessly.

» A cosy room with some festive decorations was full of cupcakes and pizzas. It looked like a party. Women dressed in blue sang, danced and even rapped. At the front of the room, a man in his saffron robe was smiling and clapping. Such a lively and joyous atmosphere made it hard to believe that all this was actually happening in a prison. Now even some of the guards were dancing along.
