» We're not unimpressed by the option of frames and shades spectacle labels have to offer this season. Oh no, not at all. Just the names of all their fabulous products are kind of a downer when getting round to ordering new glasses: "I'd like to get the RX4246V please" or "the SPR 56S". Geez, even typing that felt like accounting. Wouldn't it be added value to the consumer's experience to have more relevant and memorable product names to recite with enthusiasm at checkout? That's why we decided to rechristen some of our favourite designer eyewear from this season. You're welcome.

» With Thonglor's famous brunch quarters, Roast, relocated to its new home at the Commons, Seenspace's second floor has welcomed a new tenant, Honey. Walk through the same doors to a brand new environment: Honey has got a much brighter and open interior than the former. Aside from the pleasing white and yellow colour palette established by furniture, we adore other subtle cues ascribing to the life of bees. Look closely at the white wallpaper around the bar, for instance, and you'll see the hexagonal pattern of honeycomb. Look up, and there's more geometry, this time alluding to flora from which bees collect the saccharine precursor to honey. Most inconspicuous of all are the overhead lights' assorted encasements. The owner tells us the spherical cages and cylindrical shades are inspired by beekeepers' headgear.

» Models. They are more than just bodies that make clothes look like happiness and self-worth. We come to admire models beyond the brands they adorn, seeing them not as nameless trend-wearers, but as the shining trend themselves. Indeed, the most instinctive way to stay current with fashion and style is to follow top models. Yes, walk behind them in the shadows and study their moves, from their editorial posing game to how they eat cheeseburgers. In other words, stalk them on Instagram. And who better to stalk on Instagram right now than the really, really, really ridiculously good-looking inventor of “Blue Steel” and number-one male model in the world? Earth to you, it's Derek Zoolander. Here are seven Zoolander trends from his Instagram that we need to get on top of ASAP!

» It's been two weeks since Major Tom left our planet, but we're not yet over his death. Aside from giving us songs that will captivate us for a lifetime, the way David Bowie presented himself to the world, like his music, was unprecedented, bizarre and permanently brilliant. This week, Guru pays tribute to the rock star who was also one of the most stylish men on Earth, looking back on his most memorable fashion statements.

» Tomorrow is Thai Father’s Day, and I’m curious about something: When you’re out tomorrow, “treating” your dad to a feast of gratitude for not giving up on you, who’s driving and who’s paying? You? Mom? Surely not Dad… right?
