» The Office of Art and Culture (OAC) at Chulalongkorn University is currently showcasing a rare collection of 24 deity paintings which are approximately 196 years old. The paintings at the exhibition "Tom Tong Mien: An Exhibition Of The Yao Ceremonial Painting" were created by Chen Guei Li, a painter during the reign of Emperor Dao Guang of the Qing Dynasty, and offer a glimpse of the rich cultural heritage of the Yao/Iu Mien people.

» Today, @Thailand is paying a heartfelt tribute to the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej with excerpts of four published stories dedicated to King Rama IX's many visionary projects and undertakings which have transformed the lives of the people as well as the highlanders on the fringes. From the 'pla nil' fish introduced to household kitchens thanks to a strong bond between the Thai and Japanese royal families, to the famed Doi Tung alternative development concept to combat illicit crops, the late King's benevolence has transcended borders. The late King's passing has also been honoured by the people of the mountains he had helped, in the most fitting manner ever accorded.
