» Art has been a universal language since the dawn of humanity, from the first rock paintings on cave walls. It is an intrinsic part of our DNA, sometimes lying dormant for millennia. This exhibition is inspired by the moniker “Nai Khon Phukhao” (Man of the Hills), bestowed upon the late artist Thawan Duchanee by Professor Silpa Bhirasri, the Father of Thai Contemporary Art. Since then, Thawan has been known by this title, embodying the spirit of an artist deeply connected to nature and tradition.
