» The recent report in British newspaper The Guardian condemning Thailand for the use of slave labour in its fishing industry is another wake-up call, ringing loudly enough for the government, private sector and all related parties to start righting the wrongs. This is not the first time the fishing industry has been put on the spot after allegations of forced labour and human trafficking. However, some parties have argued information reported by The Guardian is outdated, non-factual and unbalanced.
