The primary obstacles to recycling include a lack of awareness, insufficient infrastructure, and limited demand for recycled materials. However, numerous initiatives aim to increase the recycling rate, with the private sector also playing an active role. One notable initiative is the PRO-Thailand Network (Packaging Recovery Organisation Thailand Network), which represents a collaborative effort among the government, industry, and civil society.
