» Frills, fluff and drama describe the kind of clothes and accessories home-grown fashion house Theatre makes. A visit to their glass-encased store, located on the third floor of Siam Center, is like a visit to the finest costume department in the land -- it is packed with glittering headpieces, delicate lace blouses, rhinestone embroidered dresses and all sorts of over-the-top numbers that belong on the stage as much as on the fashionable streets.

» Let's maximize TK Park while it's still around to light our fires and fill our buckets. The idea of it having to shut makes us want to start a war -- and it must be a coincidence that their current exhibition, "14-18", happens to be about one too.

» 'More, more, more!" What else could you expect the feistiest hotshot designer of the moment to say, in reference to the bling that goes on the clothes he designs? Their trade is, favourably, one that is steeped in a long familial tradition that can be traced back to Yoswadee, a long-standing fashion house that dressed prestigious figures and women in the government during the 50s and 60s.

» Never amiss with kisses, this autumn/winter collection again sees London accessories house Lulu Guinness sealing all carryalls with a smacker. But autumn seems a good time to ponder about those thorny issues -- namely the darker side of love. The collection is called "Life Is A Bed Of Roses But Beware Of The Thorns" so you can obviously expect roses galore, with a reality-checking dose of thorns in the mix. Their key piece is after all a black clutch with thorns, all set with a gold finish. Open it up and the collection's name stares hard at you from the lining.

» There's still some room for colour and a pop of fun before autumn completely kicks in. Lots of houses seem to think so too, with their pre-fall clutches, totes and satchels still rocking hot shades and a little bit of cheek. Grab your cheery fix before all the collections start turning all dark and broody for next season.
