» โครงการทางเดินเท้าแบบมีหลังคาคลุม (Covered walkway) บริเวณถนนสาทรใต้ โดยสำนักการโยธา ได้ร่วมกับศูนย์ออกแบบและพัฒนาเมือง (UDDC) ศึกษาและออกแบบโครงการ Covered walkway เรียบร้อยมาระยะหนึ่งแล้ว ปัจจุบันอยู่ระหว่างการดำเนินการโดยนำร่องบริเวณถนนสาทรใต้ ช่วงสถานี MRT ลุมพินี ถึงสกายวอล์กช่องนนทรี ระยะทาง 1.6 กิโลเมตร งบประมาณ 20,523,000 บาท ระยะเวลาการก่อสร้าง 180 วัน เริ่มต้นสัญญา 18 ก.ย. 67 สิ้นสุดสัญญา 19 มี.ค. 68 ทั้งนี้ กรุงเทพมหานคร โดยสำนักการโยธา ได้ร่วมกับศูนย์ออกแบบและพัฒนาเมือง ศูนย์เชี่ยวชาญเฉพาะทางด้านยุทธศาสตร์เมือง คณะสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย (UddC-CEUS) ในการศึกษาความเหมาะสมการจัดทำทางเดินเท้าแบบมีหลังคาคลุม (Covered walkway) บริเวณพื้นที่ยุทธศาสตร์ของกรุงเทพมหานคร ผ่านกระบวนการออกแบบอย่างมีส่วนร่วม และพัฒนาแบบรายละเอียดที่เหมาะสม ให้สามารถใช้สัญจรในทุกสภาพอากาศ ท่ามกลางอากาศร้อนจัดและฝนตกชุกหลายเดือน เพื่อส่งเสริมให้ประชาชนเลือกสัญจรโดยขนส่งมวลขนและการเดินเท้า สามารถเดินเท้าเชื่อมต่อไปยังระบบขนส่งสาธารณะได้สะดวกมากยิ่งขึ้น ซึ่งจะเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการช่วยลดปัญหาการจราจรของเมือง ดังเช่นที่ประเทศสิงคโปร์ หรือเมืองต่าง ๆ ของไต้หวันได้ทำ---------------------------------------Published caption::Virtuous signals ...
