» Thailand’s commitment to advancing science and technology took centre stage at the STS Forum 2024 in Kyoto, Japan, where Ms Supamas Isarabhakdi, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), led a delegation of executives, researchers, and lecturers from leading research and higher education institutes under MHESI, Thailand. The event, recognised as the world’s largest science and technology forum, serves as a platform for leaders across fields to exchange perspectives and knowledge on the role of science and technology in society. The forum gathered over 1,000 participants, including ministers, world-class science and technology leaders, and public and private sector executives from around the world, as well as experts and young leaders.
