Life, Bernard Trink, Published on 21/10/2016

» After a delay that has tried my patience, this reviewer congratulates Britain's Stephen Leather for coming through for us. Life, Bernard Trink, Published on 21/07/2014

» Since The Da Vinci Code, novelists have been trying to outdo Dan Brown with plots to rock the foundations of the beliefs of 1 billion Roman Catholics, but have had no discernible effect on Holy Mother Church. What became of Jesus, who lived and died a Jew, is a moot question.

LIFE

The PhD stalker

Life, Bernard Trink, Published on 17/03/2014

» One of the pieces of advice mums and dads pass on to their sons who have reached maturity is not to go with women who have more problems than they do. Advice worth following, for the lads are ill-equipped to deal with them. Indeed, most mature men can’t either. Best leave it to trained and experienced shrinks.

A plausible 'what if?'

Life, Bernard Trink, Published on 09/12/2013

» A game played by children as well as adult boffins is "what if?" The possibilities are as wide as the imagination. It's fun thinking about things being different than they are.
