Kookai — Piyapattra Chaimahawong — is one former-Bangkokian who took the road less-travelled. In November of 2015, the then 22-year-old ran with her instincts, quitting her job, putting her apartment on lease and buying a one-way ticket out of town. The spur of the moment decision ended up leading her to finding sustainability in being a digital nomad as well as a loving travel companion, Mathieu. » When Thawan Rongkapan started university, he was set on a future in automotive engineering. But halfway through his studies, a momentary reflection on his longtime love for music education convinced him to leave engineering behind. The 27-year-old music teacher now holds special music classes for toddlers at several venues in the city, including the Eurhythmics Centre by Nillawana and Alliance Francaise de Bangkok, where he teaches eurhythmics in English and French.
