The latest aerial and maritime surveys conducted in the morning of September 7, 2023, revealed no remaining oil residue. Given the current controlled situation, the Royal Thai Navy has issued an order to close the Command Centre of Oil Spill Response, 1st Naval Area Command. However, continuous monitoring and oil residue inspections will persist, along with the preparation of personnel and equipment in case of any future oil residue discovery.
