» This year marks the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Thailand and South Korea and there is indeed much to celebrate. Since 1958, the two nations have steadily developed a mutually beneficial relationship in key areas from politics and economics to culture and tourism. Bilateral trade has increased tremendously from US$59 million in 1978 to $13 billion in 2015.
