Ban toxic glyphosate

» According to a May 24 report, the Hazardous Substance Committee, in reference to a ban on three toxic pesticides, said "there were insufficient studies confirming they were health hazards", and thus have allowed their continued use. One of the three is glyphosate, known as "Roundup".

This so-called “private matter” of his deputy will weigh heavily on his credibility as long as he stays on as Thailand’s prime minister -- and will never stops unless and until this apparently inappropriate behavioural problem is corrected.

However I take exception to: "The problem with Grade 6 students, however, is not regarding writing. It is about misspelling, using slang and colloquialisms which should be easy to fix. Mai pen rai."

It's just not Buddhism

» Thai governments in the past have made a grave mistake in allowing the Dhammakaya Buddhist sect to build a temple on a vast piece of land as large as 2,300 rai -- despite the fact that normal Thai Buddhist temples are no larger than five or 10 rai. This has caused consternation among Thai Buddhists that this is not Buddhism according the original vision of the Lord Buddha.
