» Recently, Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd. conducted the "Nuasart Start Camp" activity at The Cavalli Casa Resort in Ayutthaya, gathering students in the field of dietetics and nutrition to gain experience and knowledge about enhancing flavours with umami, particularly for hospital food that aids patient recovery. Participants also had the opportunity to visit the Ajinomoto factory, preparing to become professional dietitians in the near future. The event, lasting two days and one night, was presented in an edutainment workshop format, aiming to lead in the creation of well-being by addressing food and health issues in society through our core values.

Ajinomoto and BIG Collaborate for Sustainable Carbon Reduction

» Dr. Kohei Ishikawa, Associate Director of Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd., and Mr. Piyabut Charuphen, Director & Managing Director of Bangkok Industrial Gas Co., Ltd. (BIG), recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) aimed at collaborating on the examination and analysis of methods to reduce carbon dioxide emissions in the production processes of food seasonings, Umami Seasoning, Ajinomoto food products, and utility systems at the factory. This collaboration will leverage the Carbon Accounting Platform developed by BIG, a leading player in climate technology. The platform's primary role will be to measure carbon dioxide emissions during the manufacturing of Ajinomoto's diverse food products, enabling the company to enhance its energy management guidelines and work towards achieving "Carbon Neutrality." Ajinomoto's ultimate goal is to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, contributing to the sustainable well-being of Thai society. The signing ceremony took place at the Celadon room, Sukhothai Hotel in Bangkok.

Ajinomoto receives honorary plaque of sustainably contributing to Thai society from PPAT

» Recently, Mr. Thongdee Paso, Managing Director of Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd. received an honorary plaque as ‘The Outstanding Supporter’ in the category of company with the sustainable contribution of promoting environment and healthy society for Thais in the 2022 Annual General Meeting of the Provincial Press Association of Thailand (PPAT) which was honorably presided over by Mr.Chuan Leekpai, the former Prime Minister. In this regard, Ajinomoto also promoted education for children of journalists of the Provincial Press Association of Thailand by continuously supporting education fund for the 15th consecutive year. The event was recently held at King Park Avenue Hotel, Bangkok.
