IRPC Reports 812 Million Baht Profit, Expands Globally

» IRPC showcases a net revenue of 148,710 million baht in the first half of 2024, increasing 1% compared to the first half of 2023. The performance results from a 9% increase in selling price, following the higher oil price, and profits generated by oil stocks of 2.138 billion baht. The EBITDA is accounted for at 6.118 billion baht, increasing by 187%, driving a net profit of 812 million baht. » Earlier this month, CNN reported that a British court has denied WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange "permission to appeal an order to extradite him to the United States, where he faces criminal charges under the Espionage Act". Although Assange's legal team will continue to explore its options, the snare around his neck is clearly tightening. Time is not on his side. The US and British authorities who are pursuing him can afford to wait for any remaining public interest in his case to dwindle in the face of wars, climate change, anxiety about artificial intelligence, and other global issues.
