ประเพณีจุด “ลูกหนู”จรวดมอญเมืองปทุมฯ

» เมื่อเวลา 9.30 น.วันที่ 28 เม.ย.2567 ณ บริเวณลานอเนกประสงค์ ตำบลบ้านฉาง อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดปทุมธานี หรือ “จรวดมอญ”ประเพณีของชาวมอญ ที่มีมานานกว่า200 ปี มีคณะลูกหนูจากวัดต่าง ๆ ได้เข้าร่วม จำนวน 24 สาย โดยแบ่งออกเป็น สาย A จำนวน 12 สาย และ สาย B จำนวน 12 สายโดย “ลูกหนู” นั้น ทำมาจากไม้ท่อนๆ แล้วนำมากว้านให้เป็นโพรงตามแนวยาว นำดินปืนอัดลงไปในโพรงให้แน่นอุดหัวท้ายด้วยดินเหนียวและเจาะรูตรงกลางเพื่อต่อสายชนวน แล้วก็นำไปติดไว้บนลวดสลิง ลูกหนูจะวิ่งไปตามลวดสลิงไปชนกับเขื่อนกั้น เพื่อให้ตัวลูกหนูวิ่งชนกับปราสาท หรือ แผ่นป้ายต่างๆ ที่ติดไว้ ก็จะได้รับเงินรางวัล ส่วนทีมไหนสามารถทำให้ยอดปราสาทตกลงพื้นได้ จะเป็นผู้ชนะสำหรับงานประเพณีจุดลูกหนูนี้จัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุกปี และปีนี้มีกิจกรรมประกอบด้วย ขบวนแห่ลูกหนูรอบเมือง ประวัติความเป็นมาของประเพณีจุดลูกหนูปทุมธานี เนื่องจากชนชาวมอญได้เดินทางเข้ามาพึ่งพระบรมโพธิสมภารตั้งแต่ครั้งกรุงศรีอยุธยาเป็นราชธานี พร้อมกับนำเอาขนบธรรมเนียม วัฒนธรรมประเพณีต่างๆ รวมทั้งการละเล่นพื้นบ้านเข้ามาเผยแพร่ จนกลายเป็นเอกลักษณ์ของจังหวัดปทุมธานี มาจนถึงทุกวันนี้ประเพณีจุด “ลูกหนู”เป็นการละเล่นโบราณอีกอย่างหนึ่งที่หาดูได้ยากในทุกวันนี้คือ การจุดลูกหนู ซึ่งเป็นประเพณีเก่าแก่ที่สืบทอดกันมาอย่างยาวนานของชนชาวไทยรามัญ แต่เดิมนั้นการจุดลูกหนูเพื่อเป็นการเคารพบูชา สักการะพระเถรานุเถระชั้นผู้ใหญ่เชื้อสายรามัญที่มรณภาพลง แต่กาลต่อมาประเพณีการจุดลูกหนูก็ได้พัฒนามาเป็นการละเล่นที่สนุกสนาน มีการประชันแข่งขันกัน ทั้งนี้ คณะต่างๆ ที่จัดทำลูกหนูขึ้นมานั้น ส่วนใหญ่แล้วจะมาจากวัดวาอารามต่างๆ เป็นผู้ดำเนินการ โดยมีชาวบ้านที่ศรัทธาให้การสนับสนุน ปัจจุบันนี้มีองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น ทั้ง อบต. เทศบาล อบจ. จัดสรรงบประมาณสนับสนุนเพื่อให้ประเพณีที่ดีงามเหล่านี้อยู่คู่กับท้องถิ่นตลอดไป โดยบรรยากาศเป็นไปอย่างคึกคักPhoto By Pongpat Wongyala---------------------------------------Published caption::Having a blast...Spectators gather to watch a rocket launching competition at the ‘Look Noo’ festival in tambon Ban Chang of Pathum Thani’s Muang district.
