TRIUP FAIR 2024 to Showcase Thai Research Innovation

» Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI), in collaboration with nine funding management units and partners in the Science, Research, and Innovation (SRI) System, is teaming up with the Federation of Thai Industries (F.T.I.), the Thai Chamber of Commerce, and the Board of Trade of Thailand to announce the “Thailand Research and Innovation Utilisation Promotion Fair 2024 - TRIUP FAIR 2024,” to be held from 24 to 26 September 2024 at Royal Paragon Hall, 5th floor, Siam Paragon. This event will serve as a one-stop service, marking a major collaboration between various agencies under five ministries: the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation; the Ministry of Industry; the Ministry of Commerce; the Ministry of Public Health; and the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, as well as intermediary organisations providing comprehensive services to the private sector. These services include research funding, investment loans, testing laboratories, standards certification units, business development units, marketing promotion units both domestically and internationally, and various public communication channels.

IRPC Celebrates 1-Year Success of "Innovation ONE Fund"

» Marking the 1st anniversary of the "Innovation ONE Fund" project, a press conference was held on August 14, 2024, with the participation of Mr. Kris Imsang, President and CEO, Mr. Pranarch Kosayanont, Senior Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy Planning and Business Development at IRPC Public Co., Ltd., and Mr. Panutat Kiatananchai, Managing Director of Rakpasak Co., Ltd. Organised by the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), the event reaffirmed the project's success in enabling Thai SMEs and startups to compete globally. During the event, Mr. Pranarch and Mr. Panutat joined a discussion with entrepreneurs and VC partners to share insights on the successes and benefits of participating in the project. IRPC, as an innovation-driven supporter, and Rakpasak, a startup entrepreneur, provided valuable perspectives at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), meeting rooms 210-211.

Siriraj Hospital Partners with Novo Nordisk for Chronic Disease Research

» Novo Nordisk Pharma (Thailand) Ltd. has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University. The aim is to promote collaboration in the study and research of medications for diabetes and other serious chronic diseases such as obesity and rare blood and endocrine disorders. This collaboration will also provide opportunities for patients to participate in clinical research and offers researchers more options in clinical studies. Additionally, this partnership also aims to facilitate training, joint research projects, and the exchange of innovative information and knowledge.
