Huawei Digital Bus Brings Tech Knowledge to Sakon Nakhon

» Huawei Technologies (Thailand) Co., Ltd., in partnership with the Collaborative Project on Children and Youth Development in rural areas under the Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, has achieved another successful milestone for its ‘Digital Bus’ initiative by kicking off a new project at Cognis Thai Border Patrol Police School in Sakon Nakhon province on 10 June 2024, as part of its mission to address digital skill gaps in Thailand. The programme targets to train 2,000 personnel across 6 provinces in 2024.

Dow Thailand Now Asia's Largest Propylene Glycol Producer

With an increase of 80,000 tonnes per year, the total production capacity now stands at 250,000 tonnes annually. BU x Berkeley SkyDeck Hackathon: Inspiring Innovation

» The Hackathon contestants comprised teams of 2 – 4 undergraduate or graduate students. Participants had to develop and pitch their business projects in English. The competition included a preliminary round where teams submitted provisional business projects online via a 5-minute video clip. The final round was a 2-day hackathon at Bangkok University, where teams refined and pitched their complete business projects, covering pain points, business solutions, business plans, and financials.

Thailand Leads GMS Tourism Collaboration

» Thailand plays a leading role in GMS regional tourism, inviting executives from the National Tourism Promotion Agency and entrepreneurs from over 15 agencies to cooperate in pushing the target number of foreign tourists to the Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS) to exceed 95 million people by 2025. Senior tourism officials and executives from Cambodia, Lao PDR, and Myanmar will be special guests of the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports at the Thailand Travel Mart Plus (TTM+) from 5-7 June in Khao Lak, Phang-nga Province. On 5 June 2024, two days before the official opening of TTM+, they will tour Phuket, visiting Ban Bang Rong Community, Phuket Old Town Community, and various facilities promoting Sports and Health Tourism, Gastronomy Tourism, Marine Tourism, and other recreational tourism products.
