Rickety, stilt wooden houses alongside the river may seem common and "normal" for the average Thai, but Bangkok-based Filipina entrepreneur Irma Go has always loved these structures, especially while taking visiting family and friends on boat tours on the sleepy canals of Bangkok.

» จุดเช็คอินงานศิลปะสุดอาร์ต ใน วัน แบงค็อก ที่จัดแสดงเพื่อให้ผู้คนได้มาเอนจอยกับผลงานจากศิลปินทั้งไทยและต่างชาติผลงาน: It is, It isn’tศิลปิน: Tony Craggตำแหน่ง: One Bangkok Parkหากจะพูดถึงตัวพ่อแห่งวงการศิลปะสาธารณะ การันตีเลยว่าชื่อของ ‘Tony Cragg’ (โทนี แคร็กก์) จะต้องได้รับการกล่าวถึงอย่างแน่นอน เพราะนอกจากเขาจะเป็นศิลปินนักทดลองที่เริ่มต้นเส้นทางศิลปินด้วยการทำงานแบบไม่จำกัดเทคนิค เขายังเป็นที่จดจำในฐานะผู้สร้างงานประติมากรรมสาธารณะที่ติดตั้งอยู่ในสวนสาธารณะ อาคาร รวมถึงพื้นที่สำคัญทางประวัติศาสตร์มากมายทั่วยุโรปอีกด้วยสำหรับเอกลักษณ์ในการทำงานของ Cragg นั้น คือเรื่องของแรงบันดาลใจที่เกิดมาจากความหลงใหลในวิทยาศาสตร์ วัสดุ รูปทรงเรขาคณิต รูปทรงธรรมชาติ และการสำรวจโครงสร้างภายในของร่างกายมนุษย์ด้วย สิ่งนี้ส่งผลให้งานประติมากรรมของ Cragg มีลักษณะเป็นประติมากรรมไร้รูปแบบ ไม่มีรูปทรงที่แน่ชัด มีความนามธรรม แต่ในขณะเดียวกันก็ทำให้ทุกองศาในการมองชิ้นงานมีความสำคัญต่อการตีความ เพราะเมื่อมุมเปลี่ยน ภาพที่เราเห็นก็จะกลายเป็นอีกอย่างหนึ่งไปเลยล่าสุด ผลงานของประติมากรตัวพ่ออย่าง Cragg อย่าง ‘It is, It isn’t’ ก็ได้แลนดิ้งมาติดตั้งถาวรอยู่ในพื้นที่สาธารณะ One Bangkok Park ให้เราได้ตามไปเช็กอินกันเป็นที่เรียบร้อยแล้ว โดยงานชิ้นนี้จะมีลักษณะเป็นงานประติมากรรมสเตนเลสสูง 7.8 เมตร ที่ได้แรงบันดาลใจมาจากรูปร่างของมนุษย์ ก่อนจะแปรเปลี่ยนให้เป็นรูปทรงนามธรรมที่เมื่อเปลี่ยนมุมในการมอง ก็จะเห็นรูปร่างของมนุษย์ที่ต่างออกไปด้วย ซึ่งสิ่งนี้ก็ได้สะท้อนถึงมุมมองที่เราใช้ในการมองสิ่งต่าง ๆ ที่ไม่ได้มีด้านเดียวดังนั้น ถ้าใครได้ไปเห็นงานนี้กับตาก็อย่าลืมมองดูตัวงานให้รอบ ทั้งระยะใกล้และไกล เพราะทุกองศาที่เปลี่ยนไป อาจจะเผยแรงบันดาลใจใหม่ ๆ ให้ทุกคนได้เก็บเกี่ยวกันPhoto By Varuth Hirunyatheb---------------------------------------Published caption:: Making an impact ...
