บรรยากาศการประชาชนชมปรากฏการณ์สุริยุปราคาที่สวนเบญจกิติ กทม.โดยเจ้าหน้าที่จากสถาบันวิจัยดาราศาสตร์แห่งชาติ ได้นำอุปกรณ์การชมปรากฏการณ์สุริยุปราคามาติดตั้งมีทั้งกล้องโทรทัศน์แบบต่างๆ ประมาณ 10 ตัว ซึ่งเป็นกล้องที่สามารถมองเห็นภาพดวงอาทิตย์ได้อย่างชัดเจน และเป็นกล้องเฉพาะที่ใช้ในการชมปรากฏการณ์ทางดาราศาสตร์มาให้บริการประชาชน ขณะเดียวกันได้มีการเตรียมแว่นดูดวงอาทิตย์และฟิล์มเอกซเรย์มาแขวนไว้บนราวเรียงรายในจุดที่จะสามารถมองเห็นดวงอาทิตย์ได้ดีที่สุดด้วย และเตรียมแว่นดูดวงอาทิตย์ไว้จำนวน 800 อัน เพื่อแจกจ่ายให้ผู้ที่จะมาชมสุริยุปราคา Published caption : A partial solar eclipse is seen from behind Democracy Monument yesterday morning (ืnot shown). Narathiwat residents reported a 67% eclipse as people turned out in droves on beaches and tall buildings to look skyward. Yala province saw a larger eclipse, at 69%.
