เวลา 14.00 น.นายจีรศักดิ์ สุคนธชาติ ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน ได้เรียกประชุมผู้รับอนุญาตจัดหางานในประเทศ กรณีนำเข้าและจัดหาแรงงานต่างด้าวเข้ามาทำงานในประเทศไทย จำนวน 200 บริษัท เพื่อรับทราบนโยบายของคณะรักษาความสงบแห่งชาติ(คสช.) เรื่องการกำหนดแนวทางการทำงานของบริษัทจัดหางาน การเก็บค่าใช้จ่ายเป็นไปตามกฎหมาย การเก็บค่าบริการจัดหางานของแรงงานต่างด้าวให้เน้นความโปร่งใส สะดวก รวดเร็ว และตรวจสอบได้ ซึ่งการประชุมดังกล่าวจะมีขึ้นที่ห้องประชุมจอมพล ป.พิบูลย์สงคราม ชั้น 5 กระทรวงแรงงาน The Labour Ministry is threatening tough legal action against civil servants and work placement agents caught charging “unfair” rates to immigrants, and is ordering victims to report perpetrators to the authorities.
