Published caption : Located in Seoul’s Mapo district, the Ice Museum is the latest addition to the Trickeye Museum which specialises in 3D illusions and trompe l’oeil paintings. It boasts some pretty cool designs plus sub-zero temperatures and you can pose for photos with props like an iced-up car or angel’s wings made from ice, lie on an ice bed or sit on an ice sofa while watching TV. From time to time, a giant fan is turned on to create an artificial breeze that’s sure to chill you to the bone. And while you’re there, don’t forget to check out the original occupant, the Trickeye Museum. You may have seen 3D illusions and trompe l’oeil paintings elsewhere, but the exhibits here are wonderfully creative and fun to play with — some are downright naughty!
