ที่ โรงกษาปณ์ รังสิต ได้มีพิธีเปิดศูนย์การเรียนรู้วิวัฒนาการการผลิตเหรียกษปณ์และเครื่งราชอิสริยาภรณ์โดยนายกิตติรัตน์ ณ ระนอง รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการคลังได้มาเป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดศูนย์การเรียนรู้วิวัฒนาการการผลิตเหรียกษปณ์และเครื่งราชอิสริยาภรณ์ โดยในศูนย์การเรียนรู้ฯได้แบ่งออกเป็น 8 ส่วนจัดแสดงเพื่อให้ความรู้กับประชาชน เยาวชน และการวิวัฒนาการในการผลิตเหรียญตลอดระยะเวลา 152 ปีที่ผ่านมาเปิดให้ชมตั้งแต่เวลา 9.30 น. - 15.00 น. ระหว่างวันจันทร์ - วันศุกร์ เปิดให้ชมฟรี   The Treasury Department opens the Royal Thai Mint’s Knowledge Centre in Rangsit, Pathum Thani, yesterday. The centre showcases 152 years of minting and circulating coins in Thailand. It is open from 9 am to 3 pm from Monday to Friday, and admission is free. Each year, Thailand mints 1 billion replacement coins for circulation, 50 million commemorative coins, five sets of royal decorations and 4.7 million souvenir coins andother products. Director-general Naris Chaiyasoot said the Royal Thai Mint can produce coins for neighbouring countries lacking the facilities.
