The National Museum of Finland is not tobe missed. A short walk from Oodi, it firstopened in 1916 and was built in a styleknown as Finnish National Romantic.Its exhibits include pre-historic collectionsof tools, small human figures, Stone Ageand Iron Age ornaments, and plenty ofinteresting artefacts relating to Finnishhistory, covering beliefs, arts and culturefrom the Middle Ages to the present.
