This dome shaped structure is the Central Railway Station. Opened in1919, the terminal was built to replace the older, smaller station datingfrom 1862. It is another example of National Romantic architecture.The main entrance is flanked by two pairs of male statues holding sphericallamps. All train lines in Helsinki pass through here.
