Originally built by French missionaries in 1666 during thereign of King Narai, St Joseph Church is the only one of itskind from the Ayutthaya Period that is still functioning. Thecurrent version of the church was completed in 1891. Thisphoto was taken from the other side of the Chao Phraya,from an empty plot in the southwestern part of Koh Muang.
