Attractions in Setouchi, Seto Inland Sea: Oysters are the most famous seafoodmeal in Hiroshima. When you visitMiyajima Island, you will see many oysterfarms while you are on the ferry to theisland. We tried grilled oysters. The sizewas big and the oysters were fresh.It was served with a piece oflemon. Another famous food onthe island is the traditional dessertmomiji manju, made of sweet eggdough stuffed with red bean paste.But the snack on Miyajima is uniquebecause it is created in the shapeof a maple leaf, or momiji in theJapanese language. Momiji manjuhas been sold as a souvenir since1906. Nowadays, it has manychoices of fillings including oyster,cod roe and eel.
