On display in a section of theSala Ratchakarun Museum areobjects left behind by the refugees. These beautiful sculptures depictseveral kinds of Cambodian art, from garments to dances andreligious beliefs. It’s a pity muchof such national heritages andmasters of the related art perishedduring the decades of the country’scomplicated political and militaryconflicts. These days, severaltraditional art forms have beenrevived. Still, there is a long way togo for today’s artists to catch up withthe works from their predecessors.
