Tromso Cathedral is a typical Norwegian longchurch belonging to the Protestant Church of Norway.It was designed by famous Norwegian architectChristian Heinrich Grosch and constructed in 1861in the Gothic Revival style, mirrored through thecloverleafs and rosettes visible on the windows andwooden framework. With a slate tiled roof, exteriorweatherboarding and interior panels, it was made ofwood sourced from Målselv Mountain Village in TromsCounty. The stained-glass windows were created byglass artist Per Vigeland in 1961.The church is open from 11.30am-4pm on TuesdaysFridays. Entry costs 20 krone (75 baht) for adults, butis free for children under 16. Visit kirken.tromso.no.
