Sami Camp At Sami Arctic Reindeer, orSami Camp, near Tromso,visitors can have the memorableexperience of reindeer sleddingon the snow and feed the Samipeople’s herds of reindeer.The Sami people are anindigenous people of northernEurope inhabiting Sápmi, whichtoday spans from parts ofnorthern Sweden, Norway andFinland to the Kola Peninsulaof Russia. The Sami peoplelive in four countries: Norway,Sweden, Finland and Russia.The total population in thesefour countries is estimated at80,000, around half of whomlive in Norway.
