ที่กองบัญชาการตำรวจปราบปรามยาเสพติด ถนนวิภาวดี กทม. ได้มีการแถลงข่าวการจับกุมยาเสพติดให้โทษและขบวนการค้ายาเสพติดสำคัญ ได้ผู้ต้องหา 13 คน ใน 3 คดี ของกลางเป็นยาบ้า 10,000,000 เม็ด เฮโรอิน 37 กิโลกรัม ไอซ์ 2.06 กิโลกรัม และกัญชา อีก 917  กิโลกรัม มีมูลค่าร่วมประมาณ 2,043,645,000 บาท โดยมี พล.ต.อ.เฉลิมเกียรติ ศรีวรขาน รอง ผบ.ตร.
