ANOTHER RAIL LINK TO THE WEST A train stops at the new Pho Nimit (S9) skytrain station on Ratchaphruek Road yesterday. The Bangkok Mass Transit System is preparing a test run of the Silom Line’s Saphan Taksin-Phetkasem extension, which will open soon. Four stations are planned for the extension, which links to Wong Wian Yai station in Thon Buri. In addition to Pho Nimit, there are Talat Phlu, Wutthakat and Bang Wa stations, all of which are scheduled to be operational next year.
